How much does a bespoke kitchen cost in Southport?

A plain-English guide to what moves the price of a hand-built kitchen in Southport — size, materials, worktops and appliances — with real-world ranges.

A bespoke kitchen in Southport typically costs between £15,000 and £60,000 fully fitted. The gap is wide because every kitchen is drawn to the room, so the price depends on four things.

1. Size and layout. A straight run of cabinets along one wall costs less than an L-shape with an island and a utility. Islands in particular add real material cost — the four returns are each a finished panel.

2. Door style. In-frame shaker is the most involved to make and sits at the top of the range. Flush handleless doors with aluminium rails are usually the next tier down. Painted shaker and flat vinyl-wrapped doors come in cheaper.

3. Worktops. Laminate starts around £400 for a two-run kitchen. Quartz and granite are templated and fitted and usually land between £2,500 and £7,000. A thick waterfall-end quartz island will add another £1,500 or more.

4. Appliances. The oven, hob, extractor, fridge and dishwasher together are a line item of their own. A fair budget for a mid-range Bosch or Siemens set is £3,500 to £6,000. Wolf, Gaggenau and Sub-Zero push that past £15,000.

We quote fixed-price after the first design visit. Each line is itemised so you can see where the money is going and move things up or down the spec.
