A Thomas Howie kitchen is built to be used hard: solid-timber face-frames, dovetail-jointed drawer boxes, slow-close hardware rated for a quarter of a million cycles.

Shaker, handleless, in-frame, islands, dressers, pantries, utilities — we draw the design around the room and the way you cook.

Pricing: our kitchens are priced individually and typically fall between £15,000 and £60,000 fully fitted. We give a fixed quote after the first design visit.

What a Thomas Howie kitchen is

A kitchen is a workshop, not a showroom.

Our kitchens are built to be used hard. Solid-timber face-frames, dovetail-jointed drawer boxes, slow-close hardware rated for a quarter of a million cycles. We spec the parts you can’t see as carefully as the doors you can.

Everything is cut and sprayed in Southport. That means late changes aren’t a drama — a new panel, a different handle, a tweak to a shelf height. If it’s wood and we made it, we can change it.

And because the people who build it are the people who fit it, there’s no translation lost between workshop and site. The drawer you opened in the showroom is the drawer that lands in your kitchen.

Classic Shaker

In-frame shaker doors in painted tulipwood or oak. Cup handles or knobs, stone worktops, deep Belfast or undermounted sinks. The look that doesn’t date.

Clean runs of flush doors with integrated handle rails, tall appliance housings and quartz splashbacks. For rooms that want to feel calm and quiet.

Islands drawn to the room — seating one side, prep the other, with pop-up sockets, wine racks or an undermount sink set exactly where you need it.

Quartz, Granite & Timber Tops

We template, cut and fit quartz, granite and solid oak worktops in-house, so the joint on the mitre is as crisp as the one between the carcasses behind it.

Every kitchen is drawn to the room and the brief, so there is no price list. We quote a fixed figure after the first design visit, with each line itemised so you can see where the money is going.

Most of our kitchens sit between £15,000 and £60,000 fully fitted — the final figure depends on size, materials, worktops and appliances. Deposits, stage payments and finance are all discussed up front.

From first visit to finished room

We visit your home, measure the space and talk through how you use the room. You'll have a sketch and an honest idea of cost before we leave.

Design

Full technical drawings produced in-house. You see every dimension, material choice and finish before a single cut is made. Revisions until you're certain.

Manufacture

Your furniture is built from solid boards in our Southport workshop. Every joint, every edge, every surface, machined and finished by our own hands.

Installation

Fitted by the same team that built it. No subcontractors, no strangers. We work cleanly, protect your home and leave the room ready to live in.
